Oblates and Associates

‘Beloved, build yourselves up
on your most holy faith’ Jude 20

Our Oblates and Associates are those who have felt drawn to be linked with us in prayer and fellowship. With us, they seek to live their lives in the spirit of Mary’s words, ‘Here am I, the servant of the Lord; let it be with me according to your word’ Luke 1:38. They are men and women of all denominations, ordained and lay, married and single, living in all parts of the world.

Our Oblates undergo a period of discernment as Novice Oblates before they make their oblation. All take their share in the Daily Office of the Community and follow a common Rule of Life. Oblates are encouraged to meet in regional groups and to support one another through prayer and fellowship. They keep in touch with the Community through the Oblates’ Sister and a regular newsletter.

Our Associates are united with us in prayer and through a quarterly newsletter. They are encouraged to follow a personal rule of life and keep in touch through the Associates’ Sister.
